An anxious mind is a strong, powerful mind, as anyone who has tried to rationalize themselves out of anxiety will tell you. An anxious mind can outrun, outpower and outwit rationality and logic any day of the week.

So much of modern life is geared toward getting as much done as possible, which leads to increased stress and anxiety. Meditation is a way to use the breath to help calm the nervous system. When you breath properly, the diaphragm stimulates the vagus nerve, which helps you connect to the parasympathetic system. Just 10 minutes a day can begin to change the patterns of your brain.
Use yoga as a tool outside regular meditation therapy to cope with stress and anxiety and even heal emotional wounds. Join Amy on Wednesday evening at 5:15 pm for a combination of yoga and meditation. It will change your life!
